CFI wrecked my trailer. They don’t want to pay for it

    Almost 5 years later, this is finally closed. Video link below goes into more details:


    TLDR they got a judgement against them for just over $43,000 for the loss of use. The trailer repair had been taken care of long ago, so this was just a downtime claim. No ELP driver delayed things. No one could locate the driver, and ultimately that led to the court judgement. After the ~$43K court judgement, they offered to pay $10K. One of my attorneys negotiated $30K and I accepted to avoid having to go to court. Had to hire two attorneys. Attorneys kept 40% of the settlement (still better than nothing). Thanks to all those that left comments and suggestions in this thread. I had no clue how any of this worked when the accident occurred.
