    The eye of the storm....

You know, this thread has become almost useless. It is nothing more than a bunch of men arguing over grammar and spelling. How absolutely childish can a person get?

My husband can tell you ten times more about the trucking industry, the companies out there, and the officers to make friends with than I ever could. But because he is dyslexic, and sees the way folks who write like him are attacked on some of these threads, the man does little more than read. Yes, he talks back to a few here he knows he can trust, but that is it....

I feel sorry for those who would discount the experience of an "Old Gray Dog" for the mere lack of grammar and spelling skills... or worst, those who would attack over the lack of something so menial. You have my pity.

Guyslady you are right the forum as a whole has become an english grammer lesson. If everyone would look at the good information provided and let the BS go they could learn a lot.

That was a good post you linked! Yes, if people are serious about what they write they can take a little extra time to reread and spell check, even the dyslexic can do it! There is actually no excuse! I didn't put anyone down! And even brought up my extensive educational experience! Right! An old programmers quote "When junk goes in junk comes out!" Yep blame it on the computer! LOL But really, make it easy to understand! Whats so had about that? HMMMM

You have it all wrong. They want YOU to PAY, not to suffer in the heat and cold.

You just open all the windows and the doors and place fans strategically throughout your cab in the summer and you will be cool as a cucumber. In the winter you go to bed looking like the michelin man and all will be fine.

Or you can leave the truck running all night and drive 25 mph for the rest of the week to get your idle time down.

Or you can ask the recruiter if they have APU's installed in the trucks, and not work their if they don't.
