Hello again all. Im in school and just recieved a pre hire letter. Can anyone explain where I will go for orientation and what I will do if I decide to go with them? So far they seem like the best company who will hire right out of a tech school. Im very interested in the 14/7 program....how well does that work? Also what type of equipment will I be driving? So far Ive been driving a frieghtliner and international 10 spds...any help/advice would be appreciated.

What company is it? Roehl? Usually with a company that has 14/7, you aren't driving permanently assigned equipent meaning you swap the truck out when your on your 7 days off.

You should be able to get all the info from them.

You will likely go to Ellenwood, GA for orientation (4 days). I had two trainers that were on the 7/7 and the 14/7 program and neither one shared a truck. During their home times they just parked the trucks at Ellenwood. Perhaps some do a rotating truck schedule but best to ask recruiting about that. You will likely pick up an International out of Ellenwood.
