what really matters: what is the average per week pay of a new driver? I don't want miles driven or cents per mile...make it understandable for corporate people. thanks.

on "average"........weekly pay "can be" $650 to $900.......after taxes in most cases. -
why give net pay,
everybody uses gross pay.........too many variables !!!! -
feel better now......??
and there WILL ALWAYS BE VARIABLES............ -
I'd say average pay is around $500 a week take home, considering the slow periods and the great periods. More experienced drivers and drivers that haul specialized freight, or even trainers will make more. It all depends on freight and mileage.

5 a week take home, are you kidding ????
-
there are those nasty "variables" you even mentioned.........like miles, waiting times, no loads, break downs............many things you WILL NEVER get paid for........ -
thelastamericanhippy Thanks this.

I would just like to bring home $445 a week to put me where I am now. Anything above that is money in the bank. I have a $1500 a month pension which helps. I wish school would get here.
