Run while you still can

WALLER TRUCK out of Excelsior Springs, is like the beginning of a bad joke or a cold sore on the lip of the truckin industry. My husband worked for them for just a few days shy of a year, and was constantly having to all but bed to get home even once a month, or to get miles to run. The picture they "painted" when first hired on was a nice one to say the least. When hired on they promised him home every two weeks, blah blah blah blah,!!!Promised him as many miles as he could handle, again...blah blah blah. Their safety department leaves much to be desired. They have one safety dept worker that is awesome to work with (that is bruce). The other one leaves much to be desired. Ive heard him yelling at the drivers and talkin to them like they are crap not a human being that may or may not have made a slight mistake. When my husband had found another job to go to the human resources lady (ms. becky) bent over backwards to talk him into staying , which he did,,,,,,,,withing a month everything she had said panned out to have no bearing either.
Shoot the uncooth safety person has 3 trucks of his own and he wont even run them as lease trucks with WALLER. That doesnt say much for the company or its values or principles.
Everyone has their own ideas and values as far as companies to work for and that is understandable. But They are self-absorbed and care nothing about the drivers that is featherin their nest, ownly about themselves. But then again they get to go home to their own homes every nite. They dont have to set in the truck nite after nite after nite, or sit for a day and a half waiting to be reloaded.
Im not sorry for stating my opinion of the companyand im sure there are those of you who will disagree, but in so far as i am concerned if you are lookin for a company that is driver oriented stay as far away from WALLER as possible.
