Ya know with the amount of Fed ex trucks you see every year in the ditch during winter time it's a surprise that they are still allowed to operate the way they do

I have wondered about this as well. I wonder if the use of the independents has allowed them to say they have no control of them?

You do not see Brown in the ditch often.

    #### medic I almost thought you had hit the submit button twice:biggrin_25525:

True that UPS doesnt seem to end up in the ditch as much as Fed EX......and I wonder if you're right about them using "o/o" as their drivers keeps them from being liable.

Computer aired out and did not act like it posted so I tried again.

Then it posted and there were 2.

I think there will be changes in the future for Fedex.

Why are they so bad and Brown is not?

This is not a union question. Just a thought between two operations.

    rocknroll nik Thanks this.

The reason all those FedEx trucks are in the ditch is because they work for an airline, and are just trying to fly!:biggrin_2556:
If the company was properly classified as a trucking company, maybe they would be able to keep the wheels on the ground.

oh yeah it has nothing to do with union at all....more like bad judgement if you ask me.
I've met some of those Fed Ex drivers, they are a real mixed bag...like all of us, but the one that stands out was the guy that told me during an Ice storm that he dont care the roads fine just hammer down. The company will get him a new truck if he wrecks.

The other thing I dont understand about Fed Ex is that if these truck drivers are independant O/O's leased on to Fed ex ....why do they have to wear a uniform? That seems more like an employee to me. I dont know just wondering out loud

The million dollar question. How dare you.

    One other thing to consider.

Brown might pay if the trucks don't move as well.

But I do believe I have seen Brown on ice, but not flying.
