Swift's options for obtaining the CDL may fit your needs better. I did start with Swift, but that was over a decade ago and I got my license through an independent school. The students there were able to finance their stay at the hotel if they were from out of town.

Check out some more of the threads and see what else others have to say about training through the various companies.

 

It leaves you more time to decide who you want to go with, and you are not tied to a company for a set period of time to pay for your schooling. If there is a place near you and you can get help with the training, go that way.

All independent schools end up with recruiters coming in to talk to the students. It worked for me going that route, and I was able to spend my nights during school at home too!

Before you get all hyped up about a company, verify their hiring area, and make sure you meet their qualifications !!!
