A recruiter told me recently the team driving is mandatory only if you are contracted student who has gone through their school. Does not apply if you are experienced or went to a different school.

I've decided im taking everything my recruiter tells me with a grain of salt simply because hes teen telling me for the past 2 weeks that im starting training on September 6th. well today I found out that the classes filled up and that I cant start training till the 13th. Well I told my current that that this week was my last week So now instead of being out of work for 3 weeks without pay I am now going to be out of work for a month. Which completely sucks

If you are going through C1 to sign on with PAM, you are dealing with C1 recruiters, not PAM... C1 recruiters will say anything to get you to school. That's how they get paid...

Now, if your dealing with Lavonna # PAM, she is a straight arrow... She won't lie to you...

And no, if your an experienced driver with over 6 months, you won't team unless you want to..

Kevin, post your bank statement... OH WAIT!!! They don't do direct deposit UNTIL YOU UPGRADE!!!

But, hey... I'm might need to check my neck.... So please, show us Kevin.... Prove me wrong... Would love to see it... But I'm sure you will have some excuse not to...

Until then, for you newbies.... It's 300.00 a week before taxes... And that is Friday to Friday, first check is usually smaller because of it not being a full week..

So they took out roughly 22% for taxes on $350 gross? What outrageous tax bracket are you in?

One of my fellow drivers got a screwing this morning.

I got a dispatch saying they needed my empty trailer and I could get the loaded after 10pm EST tonight. I decided to head on to the shipper, drop the empty and stash somewhere until tomorrow morning.

I got voided off the load, but with the same trailer go to NY instead of NJ.

About 25 minutes later another driver shows up. He got voided off NY and given NJ.

But there was only one trailer there loaded, and I got it!

I have the rest of today and two more full days to go about 400 miles. Life is kinda easy just now...

Ok, let's see.... I was right about the pay.... And you didn't get direct deposit until orientation.... So, I'm guessing that means I was right...

Yup, I should have put my money where my pie hole is...

Oh, and yes everyone does get the same student pay. Doesn't matter where your from...

Talking about where your from, please tell me where you went to school... You know, so I don't send my kids there... I want to make sure they learn how to form a sentence and spell.. I'm still trying to figure out what you said in your last paragraph..

Truckers need two tools, WD-40 and Duct Tape.
WD-40 for things that should move and don't, Duct Tape for things that shouldn't move and do.

But don't mess around with old gray duct tape. Get some of that Gorilla Tape baby!
