I agree Bigkid , she loves to sit her drivers every weekend. Cause she's more worried about her social life at the bar acroos the street from the home office.

    BigKid2 Thanks this.

Thanks everyone. I can cross Matin off my list of potential employers. I may be new to this but when so many of you (even the folks with a positive slant on life) are complaining about miles, support from corporate, ect. then its not going to change any time soon. Again you have all been great about sharing your stories - I for one appreciate you. Keep safe ya'll

    Well Ladies and Gentlemen,
I've been gone from Marten for just over two months and I don't miss them at all. I've been laid off from the company I left Marten for and I still don't miss Marten, lol! I hope this finds all of you under paid and under appreciated drivers in good health and spirits. Marten doesn't deserve you!
    Keep the dirty side down!!!!!
    River
p.s. the pay from unemployment is better than I received from Marten, so is the home time, lol!

Are you on regional now? if so, how's it going for you. Im still OTR and seems like for the past couple months Im getting loads with to much time on them. Example- Come off of hometime and get a load out of so.cal area and take it to tolleson,az, then wait for the next day to deliver it, then sit around all day again till 2100 and pick up a load in phoenix and drive it all night to albuquerque and deliver it to that farmers market store. (tight docks). I wonder if there putting all this extra time on them because of the E-log? Also, more and more of my loads don't have a time set on them for pickup or delivery.

Ive got a 10 pm appt to p/u a load at Rich Products in fresno,ca. I show up at 1pm and they started loading me a 2pm. Happy about that! The load is going to Bnsf rail in Los Angeles. Strange thing is that there is no other trucks here, or even trailers in the dock. But thats good cause makes it easier to get into the tight ##### dock. If you come here I wouldn't plan on staying the night because there is a huge homeless camp a block behind Rich products. They might come knocking on your door in the middle of the night. P.S ...Have fun backing in here when there is other trailers in the docks, of which there is only four.

Been there about 7 years ago. I remeber having to un hook from the trailer, as so i wouldn't stick 1/2 way out in the street.
Yup another good load lost tot he rail. Thank you Tim Kohl
