Okay, it's not the actual logging of the reset but the last 7 days column that has created the discussion (okay an argument).

When you have a reset and the 34th hour falls say around 9 am, will you still show the last 7 day numbers in that day's column or will you show zeros?

I may not have phrased this well.

There are two very differing opinions on this issue at the moment and it's rather funny how suddenly after 19 months teaming together two sane people can suddenly turn rabid over such a thing.

After a reset I always show zeros because they don't matter any more.

i show a R on my book, or in your issue O's.

once you reset what would be the purpose of showing the previous days working hours ? hence RESET...

What is so complicated about "RESET" ?
Should they have called it "RESTART"?? or simply made it clear as to begin again at ZERO!?!
ZERO the grid and ROLL!! its been some time since recap has been a requirement.
    Tell Ole Puff-N- Stuff to deflate . . . . LOL!

Logs work from midnight to midnight. So your log should show where your hours were at the previous midnight.
If you complete 34 hours at 0900 on the 5th, then the seven days on the 5th show al the previous days. Your available hours on the 5th are based on the previous 8 days, even if you don't start driving until 1000. That is because your hours available on the 5th are based on the numbers at midnight the 4th.
then on the 6th, you would post zeros for all the previous days EXCEPT the 5th. For that day, you post what you drove. so if you drive 10 hours on the fifth, then you would show 10, then the other seven days as zero.

*glares at Emulsified* Sadly that makes a great deal of sense even if it means I would be partially *coughs* wrong.
