asking that question, you might as well ask "swift? or swift..." since they're owned by the same family.

I have been with both, went to school at Central a few years ago and now Im with Swift. My opinion is that Swift is far more organized with orientation and training. I will say however that Centrals school was very good, cant speak for Swifts school. They maybe in the same family but I do think they are run different.

on one of the forums, 1 cent per mile from the new hire go's to the trainer for the first 6 months holy crap, i guess it's to keep the mentors from leaving, i may start looking at millis transfer used to work in the 90's

I dont believe that 1 cent comes out the new hires pay, its just an incentive that is payed to the mentor.

I wasnt there long, my wife had a accident and I had to leave. Thats was in 2008 at that time it seemed ok, I was with a trainer so our miles were good he was dedicated so we were always running. Not sure how it is now.

yeah, its paid by the company, BUT the mentors DO NOT GET IT until the student has been with Swift for 6 mo. The mentor dont start getting it as soon as the student upgrades to their own truck. Student has to stay with swift for 6 mo.
