I am re-taking my Road Test on next Monday the 25th and since I am in NY, I have to take the coil endorsement. Apparently, I have to wait until after my CDL A to take the coil test. Roehl has already run my background and sent me on a DOT physical. They are now waiting for me to see when I am coming to Marshfield.

I am now sitting on my hands waiting for the test since the CDL school I went to has already given me extra training time (last weekend) and I am not sure if there will be anymore. Parallel parking has been a challenge since the school is only 3 1/2 weeks long (one of those weeks is spent studying for th permit) its hard for me to grasp it in such a short time.

I am right behind you..Just finished my 1st week of school had my permit already so 1st week was a little waste of time, learned alot though. They are backed up so need to get scheduled for a truck. Not happy about that..Guess I will study up for hazmat and make use of this time.Far as roehl is concerned,I've been hired just need to do their pyshical which Ive taken already from school.I am very impressed with Roehl so far, they were my 1st choice and I am glad it worked out.Keep in touch when you get out there and good luck.

Dont worry about the coil test it is not that bad.I had to go to roehls gary,in terminal to take it and i passed it the first time but i had to take the alabama and new york test. You are starting out at a great company i worked there and then quit like an idiot.I kick myself everytime i think about it.My first truck had only 200,000 miles on it!! I went to TMC from there and my truck had over 600,000 miles on it plus the people at Roehl are alot nicer than at TMC.I am now going to schneider but if i could i would go right back to roehl.

I am scheduled for Orientation on November 15th, but have hit a snag: I have failed my CDL road test twice and I need that before I take my coil test. Third try next week-I really need to get my parallel parking down as well as my not-so-straight back.

Slow down, take your time, and take a deep breath before taking your test, remember left to go right, and right to go left, you will do fine.

Forgive me for being negative, but your exact words have already been spoken to me both other times and the result was the same. Unfortunately, I do not know how to relax-which I assume is what you mean when you say take a deep breath.

I do thank you for the positive words regardless.

It's not a problem, I was just trying to help, I have to remind myself sometimes to take a breath and relax a little when I put myself in a bind, I am in no way an experienced truck driver yet, but I have learned how to calm down and take it slow and its helps me, just figured it may help you.

My only chance is for people like you to pray.
