Oh good Lord. What idiot decided that letting them all go was a "good" thing? Do these people not understand that the hate and drive many of these people have is so ingrained that nothing will stop them?

Come on! They are "suicide bombers". Suicide goes against EVERY natural instinct the good Lord gave us.

Thank your local, state and federal liberals for that nonsense. They have no clue on how to keep this country safe, nor do they seem to want to keep this country safe.

My idea when we realease them. Drop them out of the plane say from 30K feet WITH NO PARACHUTE. Also their feet will be in concrete overshoes with a pig head looking at them as they are screaming to ALLAH all the way to the ground.

I'm still not sure why non-uniformed combatants that are from countries other than where they were doing battle could just not be shot on sight, or executed after interrogation. You know darn well that would be how Americans would be treated if the situation was reversed.

What I will say next may frost some behinds, but here goes:

American born "preachers" are the ones who stole our children, shipped them in cattle cars to places hundreds of miles from home, housed them with deadly enemies, beat them senseless for speaking the only language they knew and forbade them from following their deeply felt religious traditions.

That said, today's Christian preachers had nothing to do with the above mentioned terrorism. But many of them are equally activist in their beliefs and will not accept there may be another way. I have no problem with somebody walking their own path to God, but that does not give anyone the right to attempt forcible change on another free individual. Any true Christian will show by example that their way is the way to peace...by living it and showing what God means to them. They will not show the way at the barrel end of a rifle.

Put them away? No. Force them to live the way they expect the rest of us to.

As to closing Gitmo: leave it open, only fashion it after the Soviet Gulag. Prison should be uncomfortable. There are some people, who through deep religious conviction, can never be rehabilitated.
