Just some of the stupid things I see

Point taken, and I'm sure there's some sarcasm there. But let me add that I refuse to get my blood pressure up over CSA. Couple of months back, I got DOT'd in SC....wrote me up for a dolly crank handle that wouldn't stay in the hangar (replacement crank handle that was a different size than the first). Now a license plate light. If these are the kinds of things that will eventually disqualify me from driving, so be it.

That is not to say I don't care...I do, and always try my best. I've replaced lights, adjusted brakes, etc., just as I'm sure we all have. But if diddly crap like license plate lights and crank handles are going to cost me a job, so be it. I won't need it.

 

When your a practicing alcoholic or addict, those thoughts just don't enter into your mind DB. Getting that next drink or fix is all that we care about. Still have problems with that myself sometimes and I've been clean for over 10 yrs now.

 

Here's a real stupid move.
One of the guys I know was partying with some other drivers and friends.
He was dancing with a lady and his girl friend of the month got jealous and came on the dance floor and slapped both of them and then grab the guy's hair and drops him.
He DRUNK, gets in the truck and trys to leave..
Hits two pick up trucks and goes in the ditch and then backs it out and leaves.
Well he got caught.
Now he's out of a job will lose the trk. as it's not paid off yet.
Plus he's about 1500 miles from home.
Now his girl friend of the month is driving him home to his house and I believe what will be his soon to be ex wife..

Lost it all to drinking and a jealous girlfriend

 

I will never understand that either.
What man in his right mind would want more than one woman???
I get enough grief from one, I would not want 2.
Heck, that could drive you to drinking by itself.

 

The sad thing about his current girlfriend of the month is she crashed and burned another one of our drivers before.
He even knew about it prior to him hooking up with her.
I told him before, if it has t$ts and a s!!t you want to jump it. He told me it was a cold comment, but yea your right...
