Ridge Career Center...Yea or Nay?

Ridge Career Center-Winter Haven, Florida. Has anyone used this school?
It seems like a near perfect match for an old Florida Boy.
1) Starts Jan 4th. So not too far off.
2) 10 week program. Primarily M-F 7am-2pm. 320 hour course with 1000 miles of road driving per student including atleast 20% night driving. Not a big rush thru like many of the private schools.
3) The cost is about $2,700.00. Half of what the Private schools charge.
4) Would be finishing mid-March and trying to get on with a company late March/early April. This would hopefully get me with a trainer just in time to MAYBE catch a little Winter Driving experience while with a trainer. If not, atleast I'd have months of driving under my belt before the next Winter.
5) Free Agent Status and paid for versus taking a gamble with a company sponsored school and all the entrapment that can happen.

Hundreds of hours reading and interacting in these forums have led me to believe this would be my best route. Any further suggetions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Kinda tough getting started out of Central Florida. So just trying to be as thorough as I can. Suggestions anyone?
