I fake my physical form because I have diebeties and I have to work but I feel so bad about this and dont want to get into trouble. My CDL physical is due but I'm not doing this again guess I will be unemployed if found out will I get into trouble even if I dont have my CDL anymore?

So your saying that you are insulin dependant and driving a tractor trailer? Are you TRYING to kill someone?

So, let me understand. You won't have a CDL anymore and you faked your past physical? And it appears you are going to give up driving?
Unless you have anything pending (accidents, etc.), you will probably get away with it. Time to head to the barn.

Yes......even though you (will be) no longer a driver; what you did was FORGE a FEDERAL Document.
Good Luck.......it's people like you that make it harder on the rest of us, who try to live by all of the rules.

What does being insulin dependant have to do with killing someone? I ran team with a friend of mine back in the late 80's who was insulin dependant. He took 2 shots a day. I would put his skills and safety record up against anyone on this site or any site as far as that goes. It is apparent that you know DICK about being dibetic.

Well I do know I little about it. Runs heavy on one side of my family. I've had a family member who was on the shots for several decades without incident. Then one day he miscalculated (either a bad reading or a wrong dose I'm not sure) and lapsed into a diabetic coma without any real pre-symptoms. Luckily he was not driving at the time. Had he been driving a car he could have easily killed someone.
Things like that are why DOT will not allow a person to hold a CDL with severe diabetes. It only takes one little mistake to make the driver unsafe.

Type 2 diabetes you can drive if treated and under control.

Type 1 diabetes (insulin) you need a special waiver to drive and are closely monitored. It's hard to get the waiver though as your doctor has to prove you are stable after one month and then the medical board has to approve it. It's a long drawn out process.

The first poster is probably a lurker trying to be funny. If not, you could say goodbye trucking, hello prison!
