Does any one have any info on this company (Freymiller)?

I worked w/ Freymiller for a short amount of time and they were the best company I've worked for. If you want to work and make money, then that's the place. Susan Y. was my driver manager and she always kept me busy. I always ran my loads on time and stayed in touch with her constantly. Did a lot of East to West loads with the company; my lowest pay check for one week of work was $945.57 after taxes.

In my opinion they are a great company to work for. They had an open door policy and if you had a problem they were always more than willing to work with you. Hell they flew me home when my wife fell ill. Lets not forget the equipment. The trucks and trailers were very well maintained and when you got into your Pete you knew you had a solid and dependable truck. I don't believe I experienced any half ##$ jobs with maintenance like I did with other bigger companies. Comradery amongst the driver was like nothing I had experienced with the bigger companies, i.e. Werner, Smith Transport, etc. It was great, it felt like family.

You have to be willing to work though. Many guys complain about certain companies doing this and that to them, however they never mention there side of the story ( but you can't hold that against anyone, it's human nature ). Bottom line is you have to be willing to work hard and get your loads where they need to be as quickly and safely as possible instead of sitting at the truck stops talking trash. You run your loads right with this company and they'll treat you right and you'll make a comfortable living with them. Hope this helps anyone thinking about applying with the company and good luck. Oh, and for those who are going to be, in a very asinine way, saying " Well why aren't working with them anymore " as aforementioned; My wife fell ill and I had to get of the road.

Freymiller based in Oklahoma City OK , new a whole gang of guys that went to work for them back in 05 on work visas they left after 2 months don't know whether that sounds alarm bells or not? But regardless of what you hear it really comes down to what you like as the saying goes "better the devil you know than the one you don't " Most trucking companies are pretty much the same it all comes down to what colour bonnet you like where you want to be based and how much home time they'll give you however deciding to go OTR means you will have to spend lots of time away from home if your married you should really talk this over with your wife first. Perhaps a local driving job would suit as you will be home every nite.

 

i worked for them as a company driver from 1990 to 1995,,,$33, 000 a yr...sort of funny that the total wages made each year in the 4 years..though i got increases in cents p mile....in 15 yrs driving, best company i drove for,, i was with silvey( no longer around), donco(not sure if they are around) quiely trucking(flatbed) and freymiller....there were okay in my book, and might drive for them again,,but got to get one year under my belt again

 

Any current info on how you guys are with Freymiller these days. Me and my bro are thinking of switching after the winter slowdown.

 

I'm looking into other compaines now as I have 2 years under my belt. Wanted to know what the hometime, miles,pay etc. is with these guys. I see them alot in the phoenix area. I am currently with may, should I stay or go.
