In the last three days, glass for mexico to Laredo (not auto related)
Auto parts to Laredo from Irving
Foam sheets from Irving to Laredo
AC parts from Laredo to Tyler, TX

I've hauled anything from Foam to Copper Sheets, Beer to Coils of steel to mattress makers.

Actually had some pretty good miles before getting home this AM.

Texas is a pretty big state, plus he lives there so they kept him close to home for Christmas. Like me, I stayed in the NE and midwest before coming home.

I went to work with CR England even though I'd rather have went with PAM. I have noticed I have seen more PAM trucks on the road than any other company since I started driving. Does anyone know PAM's policy on taking grads from other companies? Several classmates have left England for Swift, Stevens and some small hometown companies. I intend to work with England until my tuition is paid off at least but I still wonder about PAM? Any info would be appreciated!

I'm not sure I can have any effect on your question but let me expound on my weekend dispatch moron comments.

I was at a Gun Range yesterday. I had every right to be home and off duty. I get a call "Did you pick up that load in Tyler?" I said no I'm at a gun range (guns are going BANG in the near background) "Oh I hear pops" "But did you get that load?" No, My day time dispatcher said drop the trailer and bob tail home. "So when will you be available?" Friday AM "OK" Click.

Had they bothered to read my Qualcomm messages they would have known it all.

I started the truck today because I really need new batteries, and the QC beeped. It was a load picking up where and when I dropped that one. Another beep for fuel, another for route than a minute or two later one more canceling that load.

I'd just about bet you the cancel came after I talked to the freaking MORON!

If he had his way WHAT Christmas? What 7 weeks out and I asked for 6 days home?

Probably no one else in this world would think as I do of the idiots that run PAM.
