I have a question for someone...... How do you fold a coil tarp and make it look nice? We are at wits end with the coil tarp.:biggrin_25514:

I had a document on how to fold all the various tarps. I should try to scan it sometime to post it up. It was a great thing to have. I was given it when I first started pulling skateboards.

I have it in one of my file cases. As a matter of fact I think I may know which one I put it in now that I think of it. If I can find it I will scan it and try to get it shared up here somehow.

Can files be directly posted up for download? It would be a pdf.

The first few years I only drove lowboys. Not much tarp work. The first few times I had to tarp a semi I really battled.Took a good 2 hours and looked crappy. We ran B doubles and used to transport flat cardboard boxes.Had to tarp these real good. The one customer was just 300 yards down the road from where we loaded and sometimes they would force us to spend hours tarping these loads for the 300 yard trip. A good tarping article would be welcome.

the coil tarps that are the slideover the top kind look good when you fold them like a paper lunch sack. just tuck in the sides and give the open end a small flap to fold into the crease. I've never done a smoke tarp tho, sorry.

I just kind of roll them up, or wash them and put them right back on the bed!

    Ruthless Thanks this.
