    I can read...

sounds better than rand, wanting to charge you for the next map update...
The bottom line is, will new maps from rand make my tnd700 route better, increase speed or stop it from software and/or mechanical failure?
    NO

Does the TND700 have a user friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface)?
    YES

Does Google maps provide better routing than the TND?
    Yes

Maybe I expect too much by having a 500 dollar GPS actually getting me to my location in an efficient way and not have to be sent back to the shop every 3 months.

Heading west on flamingo rd in Las Vegas ,NV the tnd tried to route me onto las vegas blvd going south which is a no truck route. I hit detour and it tried to route me onto it north when all it had to do was send me straight and get on i-15 going south. Silly tnd.

NFG and Mark Kling Thank this.

back again.... Sorry about that.. I had a few projects that really needed to get done,,, beginning of year for the Beta Testers and a lot of in-house stuff for me to do.. plus getting my orginal Laptop reloaded and tested. I feel the keyboard may give out with the amount of typing I do on it...but, the new replacement HD is working well..

Remember, if it seems I am not around, you can always E-mail me.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Did Rand Support get you taken care of? Currently I do not have the ability to remote into a users computer to view the TND. Rand support does and they are aware of when someone E-mails me that I forward it to their senior support rep so that they can support you.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Your choice, but I would rather have support than none at all.

I can Google a lot of stuff on the internet and find hundreds of pages of complaints, but in the end, it is your choice.

    I am here to assist.

    Thanks,
    Mark
