I got off the road Jan 7,2010. I drove locally all year. What tax deductions am I entitled to?
I know I can't claim per diem anymore, right?
Surely there are tax deductions for local drivers. Anyone? Anyone, Bueller?

Even though I go home every night?

I thought that I couldn't claim meals anymore because I could eat at home.

any tools, CB, work gloves, uniform. Darn near anything you put in the truck to use you can deduct, pens, sunglasses.

Make sure you compare it with the standard deduction. Unless you have per diem, alot of medical bills, mortgage, etc. It's hard to beat the standard.
