    Hey Boardhauler, Do you remember how many TS had bars in them??? Was nothing to pull in and park, go inside and get a nice burger and a tall Bud! It's a wonder we didn't have more problems then we did... Glad some things have changed, sorry to see alot of them go. Guess it is what it is...

    I like Loves truckstops, but sincerely hate their watersaver showerheads. I also detest their reliance on motion activated faucets - a PITA to brush my tooth or scrub my mug.

    Loves started as gas stations in OK I believe, Pilot started that way in TN. There are some of each that don't have showers or cater to trucks, but none are being built that way anymore that I have seen.

    They are building new stops where there are few small alternatives, like the one proposed for Kankakee, IL on I-57. Not much for parking there now; anything would be an improvement.

    The tire shops are bare bones, no overhead doors and no inside place to work on tractors or trailers. Oil fired space heaters to heat the building as needed They fill a need, more places to get a tire fixed or replaced isn't a bad thing.

    Believe me, I have sent them more than one email complaining about their water conservation efforts. Shoot man, I wrote an email to sheetz complaing about dousing my 2fer$0.99 dogs with too much mustard and ketchup. Got a stack of free samich coupons from them!

    Loves has yet to send me at Water Massage Shower Head and pipe wrench!!
