The England family owns the Freightliner dealer in SLC? No surprise. It sounds definitely crooked. CRE's dealership "leases" trucks to CRE's company. Now....what kinds of tax breaks does this bring the Englands?

dudley. i heard the same while i was there at the so called school. never verified this though. the training and class time verses the on road training differ so much from each other it was hallarious! they have the means to become a great company but the money they make off of the school and the lease program gets in their way. and certainly they will not give up all the funds that they are hauling in to become a top notch company. i went to get my cdl and did. i have been around trucks all my life but never had a reason to get the cdl so i seen where cre was doing this deal they do and i didnt do any research and boy that was the biggest mistake i made. the only thing consistant about the whole place is there inconsistantcies!!!!! and i mean that from top to bottom. the training i recieved out on the road was a joke. the trainer dont know how close he come to getting his neck broke!! all the trainee does is make him or her money and gets no respect at all for their services. this is training and i understand this but $350 a week will not cut it for a man with a family and then the .11cents a mile is also a joke. my cat would be worn out after about 4 or 5 hours and so i would drive on her log so i could get more money. right or wrong i was doing what i thought was best to generate money. the first trainer was keeping phillopino time and would sleep 12-14 hours a day. he would stay up all nite and scream and holler at his wife (phillopino) 25 yrs old and his 17 yr old girlfriend that was pregnant by him. he was atleast 45 yrs old. this went on night after night. so i finally tell him i was not impressed and would he take it to the sleeper and he says basically i could kiss his butt. so i told him i was going to report him and did. this situation with him is just the tip of the iceburg. so anyway i (myself and my buddy) report this guy and he is still working for cre. they teach to be legal and safe but when it comes down to it, its all about the dollar. run run run. no matter what. they tell lie after lie. this company is being reported day after day and i would guess they pay a great amount of money to who ever it takes to slide the paper work in the trash. i see all the post on here and i concur fully with all of them but there is even more to report than what is here. someone said its like they are just hearding cattle through the gates at slc and i agree fully. the more bodies the better. the doc there is such a joke. he is not a doctor. the school is a freakin joke, say three hours in a parking lot and then you drive in the worst ice storm you have ever seen with the trainer telling you to speed up..lol.... they have total control over you and the money you make and the money you make will never make it to your account until they determine how much they think you deserve. and that will be little or nothing. one pay check was for 4700 miles and i got paid a whopping 58.00. now that will make any man feel good right??? not. so i am gone now and have already got a driving job from a local company in my hometown. so if anyone has the thought of going to cre, i would advise to do your homework and put your back to the wind and run like hell!! they are in this for them and them only. you will never recieve any help from them once your out on your own. hell you will even become the broker and doing the calling if ya dont watch'em!

Skull, I know all about the mormons in Utah, yeassur. I've never met a more exclusive bunch. If you're mormon, you've got it made in Utah. The machine will find you a good job and ensure your success. If you're not a mormon, you'd better have a skill that is in demand, or they'll discriminate against you and keep you out of decent jobs until you leave. They want no non-mormons living there unless they're rich and spend lots of money at mormon-dominated businesses.

 

This I didn't know about. I have doubt that what you have stated is true. Whatever happened to separation of church and state? Ooops I think I may have opened a can of worms. (getting the duck tape out now and taping up the can!)

 

Believe it. They are indeed a greedy bunch, those mormons. Every three months, the LDS guys get together and have a big meeting. About twenty thousand folks cram themselves into the conference center on North Temple. And every time they have that meeting, a bunch of folks come from all over the country to protest what the mormons stand for. I believe close to 12,000 are coming now to protest, and if the movement keeps growing, there will soon be more protesters outside the meetings than mormons inside.

In October there will be a rather large gathering of those who have left the mormon flock. It'll be at the Embassy Suites Hotel beginning on October 12. It runs for three days, and I'll probably be there at least one of those days.

Not only do the mormons mix church and state, but they mix church and economics. This is the real reason this church has kept its hard-core members. The mormons take care of their own, boy. But many people have figured out the mormons are full of dung and have left that church. The website I mentioned is only one of many. Do a search, do some reading, and discover why all those people became EX-mormons. If the mormon fold didn't provide economic rewards for its own, there'd be maybe 10 people in the mormon church.

 

Yeah, they own the largest frieghtshaker dealer in Utah, the company that makes the loans, CRE, Sunrise, and Pride trucking (maybe more)

They own everything, you work for Englands, you work for the company store. Oh yeah, they hold shares in Flying J as well.
