You will find that Jim will be the go between guy for any issue that might arise, be it payroll, insurance, dispatch questions, you name it, he handles it. And quite thoroughly I might add.

I'm old school and when new hours were needed I use to go in and for $1.99 I would get a fresh 70. Not any more. I have been on E-Logs over a year now and have adapted very well to the system. My miles have stayed the same and with the way we run my reset when needed is done either at the house, or when I get empty out west. The 6 or 7 times I've been asked for my log book was quickly taken care of when I told the LEO I was on E-Logs.

I don't have the info yet he sent it to my truck, all he said was Jacksonville with a first quality load out of McElhattan. I'm going to head up about noon, get my truck ,grab the load, and come back home and just leave out from here not sure how the weather coming in later is supposed to be up that way. I'll post the customer when I get to my truck.Thanks...

Got a phone call from Louie earlier telling me to check my truck for my load info. I told him I was out food shopping with my wife and could he give me the particulars. One pick up in Monday in Reddick Fl going to Mass. Was also told he's overbooked with freight out of the yard going back south and that I need to bring the load to Pittston to be turned right around for Florida.

Where the heck are you picking up in Reddick? Would it happen to be Waldron farms? I know they're a pretty big farm in the area, not quite sure what they grow but they've got a packing house and loading docks right off of 301N. Anyway, enjoy the rest of the weekend, I unfortunately just got off the phone with the City of Tallahassee informing me that my "hauling" services are needed tomorrow, :director:ughhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey JohnBoy this load is going to something or other supply on Forshee Dr. It doesn't seem to be too far off exit 362 i think it is. Just wondering if I can run in and stay overnight til I deliver or if I should stop for the night at exit 3 in GA and go in in the morning? Any suggestions? Thanks....Al

Al I've not delivered there. I would stay at exit 3 and go in early the next morning. If it's exit 362 like you said that's only 22 miles from the fuel stop.

johnboy, are you a o/o or a company driver for calex? sounds like you are getting treated fairly, honestly, and not just another number to a company.
Wish more companies were like calex!

    JohnBoy Thanks this.
