No kidding.......real good way to improve driver/broker relations.

And on a truckers forum no less.

No wonder CHR has such a sparkling reputation employing folks like this.

50 to 60 depends. Find another broker, I thought about a crash course in brokerage and learning from the inside, but I am leaning towards a lease operation, of course financing my own truck on my own terms...which will be 50% less than what they are asking:biggrin_2554:

You can bet if the load is paying $500 that their getting at least $800 on it. And if the load is paying $1000, I would bet to say that their getting $1400.

Unfortunately there will ALWAYS be someone right behind you who will book that cheap worthless POS load since they have some 50,000 carriers in their system. And its usually not the owner op who does it but small fleets. There are just too many people out there who one day decide to open a "trucking company" so they can get rich. Yet they have no real customers or competent dispatchers capable of anything other than calling CHR and booking the first load they are told about. What do they care? They're on salary and don't want to miss their smoking break.
