A super 10 has 10 total forward gears, with no range selector like a 10 speed. Rather, you split the gear while you are in the hole. 1st gear, button forward for 2nd. Then button back, up to your second hole for 3rd. Button forward for 4th, then button back and lever back to 5th....and so on. Range is automatically shifted from 6-7th.

Search it here on the forum, there have been videos posted.

Some might say I'm not a trucker because I do hotshot work with a Ford F-350 dually, but I have a class A CDL and drove big trucks for over 16 years before going to this. I pulled nothing but oversize for 15 years. I'm still a trucker, and you are one too!:biggrin_2559:

ok, I looked it up, I have driven one of those, didnt know it was a super 10. they told me is cause is older model, lol. tho I think it is the oldest truck in their fleet.
driving that one for a day helped so much figuring out the 13 speed. made much more sense how the splitter worked.

have you tried things like 4+5 =9 gear 3+5=8 gear and so forth the 45 is the speed and have you tried the rpms # 900 to 1300 as your down shifting should work this way

I thought was fairly easy to drive. I've only been out in it once tho, is a pressure truck, and bit more than I care to be responsible for yet.
tho will admit was kinda cool get to run up close & scary, hehe.
