Has a trailer set up down at the truck stop. Will deliver to any of 3 truck stops there. Ask around in the yard. Someone in the yard will venture a trip there.

some likem, some don't. like sewerman says, "flatbedding aint for sissies" and Maverick isn't for anyone who wants to do things their own way especially in regards to securement turnover rate for 2010 was 59% which sounds high but is lower than most trucking companies. Anyone who does the job they are supposed to do at Maverick will have no problem. The driver's that want to do whatever they want, whenever they want, and secure it however they want usually dont last thru orientation or too long thereafter.

They're the one's in here loving maverick one minute until they are terminated and then maverick's the worst place they have ever worked

notarps4me, sewerman and dollylama Thank this.

If you're into fried seafood/catfish/etc try the Crooked Hook. Someone there will be able to give you directions. Only one i remember is take a left out of the gate.

They will tell you this repeatedly in orientation. They don't sugar-coat anything here. They tell you its hard work and that most people can't hack it from day one. I'm glad I chose Maverick because they really take their securement training seriously.
