Karen, I am sorry to hear about yours and Charles' problems. I went through orientation with him and have had similar problems with this company and have since left them. I found your husband to be a very good person. I wish you all the best, and may God bless you.

 

Maybe he meant he has worked with the company for six years, but has been in the lease purchase program for two and a half???

How can they get away with this? These guys work hard and the dam check bounces?

 

Don't know but they do. I guess cause they always did eventually pay the money owed and all the fees (for me anyway), but it still doesn't excuse the fact that they are (or at least were) doing it. I think most just got tired of the crap and just quit. There is nothing worse than not knowing if your money is really there or not to be able to pay bills, repairs, etc. They bounced about 8 on me, so many that my bank would not even take a check from them anymore. Needless to say I am no longer there so I don't know if they are still doing it. If they expect to keep any drivers at all they need to wake up and get a serious handle on their finances, fire those that NEED fired and run their business like that, A BUSINESS! Otherwise they will be back in bankruptcy again. Although still doesn't excuse the fact that I didn't get my last check or my $700 escrow amount back either! Just screams "Christian Principles" now doesn't it?!?

 

Now come to find out - ben and brian's father is the mayor of westfield. Northside is slowing falling apart. Still can't believe they are still in business...

 

does not matter o/o , lp, company driver , all in the same boat. hope your not still working there. must not be if you say your trying to earn a honest pay because NOT AT TRADEWINDS you might as well give your check to a honest church than to them.

why didnt you just return to the terminal to personally pick up your paycheck after the 1st one bounced ?

 

I lived 4 hours from the terminal and they would do this about every other week. If I did that every time they bounced one I may as well have stayed home. They would wind up depositing it in my account. Then they started direct deposit because my bank wouldn't even accept a check from them period because so many were bad. Tradewinds loved that because then they could just deposit it when they were #### good and ready. Was supposed to go in Tuesday night. Many weeks wasn't in there until Thursday or Friday. Then at the end what they tried doing instead of a direct deposit is they would go to my bank (their Fifth Third branch) and they would deposit a check into my account (not a direct deposit mind you) and a week later the SOB would bounce. Not that this matters or I have to justify anything with you, but I left and ya know what? I left in March for the same company I am with now and have not had a single check issue. My direct deposit is supposed to be on Friday and it's in there Wednesday night/Thursday morning at 1am every week like clockwork. The way it's supposed to be. Ya know something else, they don't try to hide their sins behind the bible. But hey if you think you can go there and get a check so easy, go for it. See ya on here in a month saying the same things everyone else has said. Or better yet go there, don't get paid, go postal, drive your truck through the building and wipe out every last one of the crooks. That would put a big ol' smile on my face. Karma is a real mother.
