I have a passport card for getting into Canada.
I recently read a news article that said it might not get truckers into Canada anymore and an actual passport booklet will be needed. I can't find the article again, but I was wondering if anyone else has heard this? Doesn't really make sense to me why they wouldn't allow you to use the passport card.

its not the point of getting into canada--its the point of getting back in the us---a fast card is the way to go--or a passport as well--but a fast card--when used as id on your paper work sure can speed up the crossing

I really don't care if I'm not allowed back in the U.S.
I'll go live on my friend's farm in Alberta.
-
as far as i know--the passport card is still good for land crossings--but for air and water you need passport
-
Americans are not required to have a passport to enter Canada.
-
but, they need one to get home.............lol
-
but the way they state it--its like its canadas fault--always---
-
of course, we have broad shoulders, lay it on us.............lol
-
after 9/11 --now that was ridiculous--of course it cant be the us's fault the terrorists are there--its got to be canada's fault--even if they never set foot in canada and were approved by the us government for student visas

The states always blame Canada.
you should be use to it by now!
