Hey Mark, if you know anything about Georgia, I have something for you. there is a new bypass that was put aroung town of Thomson, Ga. This bypass is the new rout for U.S. 78 around the town and they are going to make it illegal for anything larger than a small box truck to go through town. This is a large 4 lane road that is brand new. please let your people know about it. don't want anyone gettin any tickets because my tnd 510 is routing me right throug town.

I recently received both GPS's (TND 500 and TND 700). They are both working fine. Thanks Rand Mcnally.

Mark, or anyone else. Had the unit for approximately 9 months. Charged in wall, computer, and truck. Will not turn on. Yes, I tried to reset and connect to computer. Any ideas or suggestions?:biggrin_25513:

Biggest fear is losing the 100 plus addresses I've saved. I did back up unit three days ago. If I get another unit or repair this one, how do I download the info into a new unit? Is it as simple as hooking to the dock and downloading the backup info?

I am going to try to get this moved into the support thread.

did you let the unit sit without being plugged in for 24 hours?

If the unit does get exchanged, then the new one, simply do a restore first (not full). then update.

    Thanks,
    Mark

OK Mark, I just dropped another $500 on a new 710. I just can't wait for repairs. Can I transfer the 700 info/addresses to the 710 from the Dock back up? If so, please explain. I'm a little confused. Thanks
