"at least 4 tickets a week for 10 months " BS FACTOR reading on this about a 9 , they do not have a great RECORD but have only averaged 8 inspections per month for last 24 months.

 

I'm not gonna knock the guy too hard. We all goof and do things out of desperation that may not be the wisest. He's just thinking of his family and yes, I know, he's inverted the thought process but I can see how it can happen.

3 words for you. Digital Voice Recorder. You can buy them at Radio Shack for like $50. They're small and fit in your pocket. Click it on and get them recorded refusing to give you required gear or refusing to fix something or telling you to run illegally. Then refuse to drive. If they fire you, sue them. (That girl got $150k out of Prime when they fired her for not running in unsafe conditions.) Not that you'll get that but... ya never know.

Well no one can make you break the law!!! That was you own doing not the company's fault. You received those tickets because you freely chose to drive unsafe equipment! Stop blaming other people for your wrong decisions in life.

 

I find it hard to believe they make you doctor your logs after the owner went to jail for log book violations a while back

 

I also find it hard to believe that anyone can get that many tickets and still be driving.. unless that's a company total.

 

OP may be trying to tell us that the company is getting all those violations, which based upon their history, is actually somewhat believable.

Guenther's doesn't have the cleanest rap sheet....er, uh....safety record...

 

Report it! Stop risking the safety of others and yourself!!! Don't risk injury/death/jail time and senseless tickets any longer!!

YOU are breaking the law when you drive like that...

Put your foot down! If everyone put their foot down and didn't "let companies force them to drive dirty" then the trucking industry would be a much better place.

You might have a family to care for, but the "reward" is NOT worth the risk!!!!
