The TND is not a EOBR. In the IFTA guidelines an EOBR has to be tamperproof. The simple fact you can change the hours sets it apart. I have asked DOT's at MATS and GATS about it and they say it is a personal navigation device and does not fall under the EOBR guidelines.

I send you POI issue up to Rand. It could be the lat/long is set wrong for that POI. I know a Hess is set on a ramp close to me by the Lat/Long. Rand corrected it in the database.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The TND is not tamperproof thereby not falling under the guidelines for an EOBR.

    Thanks,

Rand knows about this. It has to do with the cost factors for that part of the highway. I am pretty sure Rand fixed for the new map database.

If you have a 510/710 and still have this route issue let me know.

    Thanks,
    Mark

You can go to main screen/preferences/truck/update driver status - main menu buttons, then the clocks will stop counting down.

also set your times back to 11/14/70.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Maps are not free for life as this point in time.

Remember, my E-Mail is always posted and I do a fair amount of traveling to assist in the Rand Moving America, so sometimes I get a little behind in posting on this forum.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Are you using the cable that came with the 710? I did note at Houston that if you use a camera USB the 710 will not show connected.

Does the 710 show on the screen connected? if not, make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the 710, if so, you may have a bad USB port on the 710.

    Let me know.

    thanks,
    Mark

If the GPS showed no GPS, how long did you let it sit in view of the sky? A new unit may take up to 2 hours to locate and memorize the satellites.

Any manufacture will always come out with new models. This is how they keep in business. I used to own a 8088 machine, yet now own a Toshiba. Progress.

When you contact me I ask for your serial number. If you have a B unit, then I replace like items. I never lie and say one thing and send another.

If you are unhappy, then by all means E-Mail me with details and I will see what we can do to make it right.

    thanks,
    Mark

510/710 have the latest maps. The map update for the others I do not have a firm date yet.

    Thanks,
    mark
