LadyK, chris is lextec on here, just fyi.

1bad, not that it matters, but I agree with ladyk's statement about each have there own opinion of named dispatchers. John mass was one reason we almost turned the truck in october of last year. But, I am sure he was great to you, and we are each allowed to have our own opinions. Btw, at that point he was no longer kraft. And, your misogynistic attitude is rather apparent, so I am sure I will be bashed for that.

As far as the amount of time at the company question, I agree with many statements, it is a starter company. Each must decide for themselves whether they are a good fit for the industry, and also for the company. Lextec and I are 2 of a class of 64 (I think). We graduated 24. Most left by the 6 month mark to go to "better" companies. Last we knew, there were still 5 others with central. Only 2 still company drivers. And we will exit stage left by summer's end.

    Klingon Thanks this.

It is always good to hear so many folks don't last in every class, same happened to my class. Makes it better for those who stay though. Funny how the one's you think will be good drivers get into accidents.

I left to go to another company that pretty much works similarly to Central, but not on a reefer, more money (33 percent more) per mile and practical miles (GPS matches paid mile). They do have higher standards and have many mature drivers with years at this employer. How these starter companies stay in business is through taking advantage of tax breaks, tuition and lease programs. The high turnover is just part of the mix. When drivers leave the company doesn't shed a tear, they just hire new folks.:biggrin_25521:

Although the runs are similar in length and destination, but a lot of drop hook....about 85 percent.:biggrin_255:
