on centrals main web site (home page) shows or says there trying to recop the fuel surcharge from there customers that perhaps don't went to pay, i (thought) they had to pay the fuel surcharge, i guess if its not the law to pay you don't have to, just hope they do, theres only one way, small fleets must buy other trucking companys then they have no choice but to pay or the frieght does'nt move, perhaps another 2 months and well see if any companys go out of business, also on there driver opportunities page taking on owner-operators, not lease (low pay) to help combat the fuel cost i'm sure

I meant what I said. The trainer cannot let you drive after 0500 for the first two weeks.

When I was with my trainer, the first two weeks we were out, I was not able to drive between 2am and 5am local time.

Oh how it is so good to see people you haven't seen in forever. I passed Greyfox (now roadrunner some numbers) on the way into okc. He was smoking pretty good on some of the hills. I didn't know it was him and just walked over to make sure he knew and low and behold, I see his smiling face. He said he stalks this forum, but will get a new phone soon and should be able to post then. Oh it was so good to see him. Btw, since lextec is driving now, when he passes you (or your student) again, he can at least let you know what color it is.

He is one of the good guys out here for sure. He was my trainer and we still talk about once a week. He mentioned having some problems yesterday. He's still waiting to get his phone,eh? He just wants an Android so he can have Angry Bird all to himself. While I drove,he sat in the passenger seat and played for hours at a time never missing a thing I was doing. He has the proverbial eyes in the back of his head.
I don't remember those numbers either. But I remember they are the model number of the biggest tractor John Deer ever made. He is a misplaced farm boy longing for his big tractor. LOL

    BD,
I am no longer with Central. My current employer has 3 Divisions (Reefer, Van and Skate)
I drive van. The reefer division is doing fine. Not sure, but think the Skates are too. I took a test to run reefer if I have to, but not yet and not volunteering. Sure don't miss those meat processors......peeeeeeeeyoooouuuuuu:biggrin_2555:
