I have been in the towing service for 17yrs and have never been burned or punked by a trucking company like GOLDEN DROP TRUCKING Did to me,i drove and hour and a half in my semi tow truck in the heavy rain e-bound on I-40 to get nothing not even a call a thank you or well how much do we owe you for driveing 196 miles to pick up my ####### driver who failed to let anyone else know that he had fixed it his self,HMMMM,thank rossco,so now i,m out $847.00 so in my oppion this GOLDEN DROP TRUCKING CO.Cant be trusted to do the right thing when it comes down to it.FG

That sucks. Did they not pay via Comcheck at time of service? Most tow drivers require payment up front for a tow. Repair service, not so much.

i have a very good friend in the towing buss. who has also had that same thing happen a couple of times. the truth is that trucking companies, especially the smaller one's operate at cut throat rates and are not going to pay for anything they can by without paying for. i'm not sure what you were going to bill them for a show fee but it if it was going to be $847 lets be realistic, who is going to pay you that much to not have their truck towed when they can just drive away and not have to deal with you. it sucks and it's wrong but it's true, in the future try to get something up front before you go a distance like that, that is how my friend handles it.
