Is that a company truck, or do you own it?

If so, I am wondering if the "no opening" option was chosen to save money. Possibly they can be replaced with windows that do open.

get a shop vac put the hose up top and turn it on it will suck all the heat out and put it down below and allow the air sucked down to b displaced by much cooler air.:biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_25525:

They should.... Should have a twist type of crank handle to open them up. They are designed to open & need to open up in case of emergency....

Looking at your sig pic, those windows have hinges.

well i see what appears to be "hinges" located at the top of that bunk window. hard to believe they do not open up. if those windows were just there for light to enter, there would be no need for those hinges...

unless for whatever reason(s) the window hinges broke, and the company glued those windows shut..???

as far as covering up the skylite, a good thick piece of cardboard, duct tapped to it should keep it in place for a long time. haven't the truckstops have that small dc powered fan i mentioned..?? you may need 2, and extension cords (or power outlet cords) as well..

another thing to do would be to shut off the vents on the lower level, forcing all the cold air from the a/c up top.

let us know what you ended up doing.

Exactly the reason I drive a midroof. Such a pain in the butt to keep the whole thing cool. My best suggestion is just get a bunch of fans from Walmart (truck stops almost double the price) and throw them on the bunk. Moving air helps a LOT. Or, fold up the top bunk.
