Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

and i am little suspicious about this scania

v8 was never sold in US except some experimental tippers in end of 80s but very few of them(because of ecology) but they are not for sure 500

so this one is probably imported from eu or at least its engine

also E-extra heavy duty (on label 143e) they were never sold in US and also truck from video have european headlights/turn signals

how abaute scania long line that will do it here for sure how much that would cost ?

 

yeah, I see, European rims, they are 22.5" but wider bolt pattern.

European rims are 30% more expencive then US rims here....

 

as much i know LAXA special vehicles ( company owned by scania that makes special scania trucks from 1960´s , also they build special cabs including longline , crew cabs for firefighters ....also build special chassis for different usage and heavy haulage tractors) want 15000€ , i am sure that this could be much more cheaper if longline is serial production cab



when scania longline was offered as normal model 4x2 version cost 145000€ 6x2 154000€...

this include 580hp engine v8 , automated gearbox , alloy wheels , retarder , side skirts , full air suspension ............all equipment ( it was not possible to buy longline with lower package of equipment)

it was available in 4 exclusive colors , but later different owners wanted different colors so there was even one in white color

but longline(and longer chassis) is 880lbs heavier than normal topline cab

 

can you find something more european on this one and yellow from youtube

i see european steps which was rare in US ( only some tippers have them ) tractors mainly have fuel tank in their position

but those two cabs looks almost identically to me only this is topline

also this one have european mirrors original from serie 3

cab seem to be longer about 50-55cm

 

it is not NA version, it is Latin America truck. Belive me, for US market no one truck maker will offer truck with european wheel hubs in the USA.

And US axes (ROR) sold in EU are of European bolt pattern...

 

in latin america scania offered only 143 450

well, I may be wrong. so I have some quations, may be to owner. What electric system? 12 ore 24 V is installed? are headlamps were changed with DOT aproved ore thet use ECE Headlamps with H4 bulbs?

As I can see taillamps are of US standard

 

yes i know they sold about 700 trucks from 1986 to 31.12.1992

when scania withdrawn from us market

but this truck is definitely not for US market both this white 6x2 and this yellow trma
