Hey Ronin when you turned your truck back in did it hurt your credit report? I am sure its in previous posts that you have made, but guessing you left like everyone else has due to not making any money?

I keep reading and re reading about once they hit your dac your pretty much finished driving. The is a guy on you tube that was with CRE, left them with abandonment of load and equipment and looks like a year later he is hiring on with US express.

No, I only did a 6 month demo lease. I did the 6 months and left. The 6 month deal doesn't get you any special deals, though... you have to complete a much longer one in order to get the variable mileage eliminated.

I've ordered a copy of my DAC report, but I didn't have any issues after leaving CRE - went to work for two companies.

Oh you would be surprised at how many legitimate companies know the sons of Chester are baseless knaves and mystics. We hired a guy they scorched the earth about with abandonment, unsafe behaviour, and a test refusal.

He's been here a year and is one of the better drivers we have.

There are hundreds of companies that even if they use DAC see through the BS people like those hypocrites in West Valley post.

Some of the BFI outfits have the attitude that if you dont want to drive for us then we will make sure you don't drive any where else either. Companies like this should be put out of business!

I finally got a call back from my accountant. It's $60 per week for workman's comp, not $212 per week as you claim.

The good news is that you can file a claim and get your overpayment back.

Again, this forum is incorrect in most of the information it presents...

I've been getting my service done at the CRE shops in SLC and Mira Loma. I've had great experiences in both places. Shoutout to Paul at the SLC yard for keeping my truck running perfectly.

CRE changed my DPF filter for $900 after Freightliner wanted $1,500 for the same thing. Plus, CRE let's me watch the work being done.

A set of Michelin tires is substantially less than what I can find anywhere else and the Mira Loma yard got me a nice credit on a tire that had a defective belt...

    Very interesting information, neighbor.

It seems that C.R.E. may have decided to do a one-eighty and change their way of doin' business. If not, what could be the explanation for so many negative stories from those who have gone through the C.R.E. experience?

    If so, I'd be elated.

Either way, I hope you continue to be successful there, or anywhere you decide to go.
And, thanx for settin' the record straight.
I want to believe what you're tellin' us.
    Really, I do.
    Time will tell, I reckon.

    Thanx again, neighbor. :salute:

Why would someone with a truck that's less than a year old have to pay $900 for a DPF replacement?
