Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

    Back to the future... I saw a half of panels used on early Actros and later in Cascadia, driver's area looks like wider cascadia with renewed interior.

    Sleeper is complitely new, but I feel something like de ja vu... Anyway it is a good combination of sleeper and drover's area

    i didnt expect no one will do this again after scania make so big problem on 2004 highline

    I've driven a Scania T-cab, Volvo NH12, Foden Alpha, DAF XF95, and a MAN TGA. I don't hate European trucks, but I simply prefer a conventional. I'm driving a Volvo VNL780 right now, which is based on the NH model. For as long as I stay out, I wouldn't want the short NH/FH/FM/etc. on this truck. I like how a conventional handles on the road much better. The European COE trucks are definitely much more solid than US models - I won't deny that - but since I'm not driving COE trucks, I'm really indifferent about that.
    Synchronized transmissions aren't a selling point, sorry. If the unsynchronized transmission keeps a couple people out of a truck who shouldn't be in one to begin with, so much the better.
    Of the ones I listed above, the Foden with the C15 Cat was my favorite. Heard good things about ERF trucks (prior to them being taken over by MAN), but never had a chance to drive one.

    IMO - synchronize trannies are just a tradicion. I drove both the transmossions and I'd prefere 10 st eaton for me.... I do not like splitters too.

    well, Foden Alfa as I remember - it is UK truck with Cummis engine and DAF CF cabin. ERF are all with MAN cabins, but usually with euro calibrated cummins engines, Eaton transmisions and MAN suspention, axes and all other stuff.

    Yeah, I like conventional design too.

    Really good combination of European made of steel cabin with traditomal for the USA hood and bigger sleeper. I saw Russian Ural 6464 but with small sleeper, they use Iveco Euro Star cab (discontinued in Italy), and ride is much smoother then in any US truck and much smoother then in EuroStar, becouse cabine is in the center of wheelbase and wheelbase is longer.

    So expancion of European cabins in the USA will make ride smoother. Europeans have to make soft cab suspention becouse they have short wheel base and that's why small EU truck runs smoother Freightliner!

    Well, I see Cascadias on road now with based on Actros cabines, but I did not drive Cascadia on rought road, so I have a quation to Cascadia drivers: how it runs comparing with Volvo and KW?

    That truck looks like a iveco strator.
    Strator is made by a dutch company, they are not a part of Iveco.

    Iveco don't wanted that the australian version of it are solded here. So a dealer decided to build a "look a like" of it.
    There about 550-600 of it, they build the first one in 2008 or 2009.
