Nah. Not banned. When someone is banned, the little orange stars disappear. You're looking at the avatar pic. A rather amusing one.

i swear when you take any kind of drivers license test be it a regular license, CDL or motorcycle they give you questions where none of the answers are really correct, OR where 2 of them could both be correct......its like they want you to fail

Just tryin' to keep us all humble, I guess. Is that what you guys with the anti-perfect advice are trying' to do for me? You can stop now as I am quite sure there ain't no such thing as a "perfect driver" --- but, there sure are some that are wayyyyyyy better at it than others!

Geeezzzzzzzz....like said in earlier post - wanna make something complicated? Just post it on A trucker's forum!

They're probably intentionally trying to leave you thinking "geez, maybe I DON'T know all there is to know about trucking" to try and put some humility in people, you know, so people don't get arrogant and think they're a super-trucker who knows everything there is to know about trucking.
Kind of like the humility an old timer has when he admits that even though he's been driving trucks since they were pulled by horses, that he learns something new every day.

The day I think I know everything there is to know about trucking is the day I need to get off the road - and that goes for anyone who thinks they know it all. Trucking has a way of keeping most off the "high & mighty" pedestal. Like we've all heard (and experienced) before - "I had the perfect day planned and then truckin' happened".

Of course, I imagine we have all met those who think they know it all - not too much fun to be around are they? That said, there are many "old timers" out there who do know a heck of a lot and I love just listening & learning from them.

    Geezze......

I took one of those open book tests in CDL school, too (Company school).

It served two purposes. 1) Kill time while the people running the joke--er class could process paperwork and drug tests. 2) Ensure that all the warm bodies in the room had basic written english comprehension skills.

All of the questions were written by a smart ### from the main office, it had nothing to do with the government at all...and nothing to do with educated people. It had everything to do with a functionary trying to make the questions sound smart enough to be a "real" test.

The OP's problem questions are just that kind of thing. It's an office dink getting cute above their pay grade.

    Yes I'm grumpy today, thanks.
