MD Steelers plan it will vary as our Cut off is on Thursday, and pay roll is on Fridays, some Pay Periods you might have 7-8 K and some 5-6k It will vary depending on many things. How often you want to be home, how quick you catch on the JBS System of Dispatch and their freight lanes, etc.
Some Do very well others just slide by and are happy with that.
If you look back at some other post on here about JBS you will see many drivers talk about the miles they have in for the week, and pay period.
For Example this pay period for me will not be that great, 3 days in Florida babysitting bad taters, and Here I am sitting in GB while truck is in the shop, also waiting on NEW tags due to they expired already. They put me up in a Hotel and I am getting Breakdown pay, etc but I would rather be rolling down the road.
This trip out I am out for 9 weeks My Choice JBS allows their drivers to choose how often they go home minimum 2 weeks out. 1 day for every 7 out.

Steelers Fan,
I think enough of this company that after a Hiatus earlier this year I returned to JBS could not find a company that offered the benefits that this company gave me.
Insurance that is good and not expensive, new equipment, and I make very good money here. I would not get out of bed for less than 1200.00 a week, I run OTR when I am off this naturally drops a little, but on average that is what I look to take home.
As for the 6 days out 6 days off, anything after that is Vacation time, When I go home in August I will be home for 6 days, as it is at the time of my Birthday this year I plan to enjoy my time at home. Normally I work 3 weeks out 3 days off. It is up to you and what fits your schedule.MD STEELERS FAN, The Challenger and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
Its days like this that make me really hate reefers. Have been sitting here for over 2 hrs now, waiting for the reefer to get down to temp. Needs to hit at least 0 and can't get it down past 2 so far. No direct sun due to clouds and its only 88 outside.
Road asst (in my company) says no problem since codes haven't been throw. 'product could have been put in warm' GRRRRRRRRRRR -
Don't they flash freeze this stuff when being shipped frozen????

If it's humid, you're probably not going to get it down that last bit. The only other option is to run it on manual defrost for a bit to pull some of the moisture out of system. Otherwise, just roll with it.
-
Would love to but they require temp to be within 5 degrees unless OS&D oks it and they have gone home. Will try the manual defrost bit tho. This has sure screwed up all my carefully laid plans!!!!
Thanks lilbit, your a sweet heart. Thank Nik for me also.
