A violation is still a violation, whether or not you're fatigued. HOS doesn't dictate your level of fatigueness as much as the FMCSA likes to think it does.

That being said, you could have qualified for the 16 hour extension while you were regional; but you can only use this extension once a week. Know the regs, and know them well. ;)

Well, if they're anything like me, they probly just gave up on it and said the hell with it. There's too many people on here that dont listen to reasoning. They'd rather listen to the bad than absorb the good. Ive tried to pour some positive info on this issue but just end up getting into arguements that I really dont wanna get involved in. Its not worth it. Its not worth my time. If people wanna badmouth England, go right ahead. Im not sayin they are the best company out there, but theyve treated my wife and I good. Do I have complaints? Of course I do but you're gonna have complaints wherever you work. Your never gonna find the "perfect" job.

I wouldnt go as far as sayin they are a fine and upstanding company, but I have yet to read or hear a comment that makes sense. Its pretty much impossible on a web forum, but in person, the same applies out there. I really dont care to hear another driver's sob story. All I can say Is my wife and I are making it happen with little effort, so why cant you? Which also brings up the point, just because you couldnt do it, doesnt mean that no one else can which is why i think its pointless to post your bad experiences on here.

    My sentiments, exactly.

Oh, and dont forget being called recruiters in disguise and cheerleaders.

At least theres one person that seems to have a good head on their shoulders......

Yer not gonna find that information here so, dont waste your time looking. I didnt even know about this site before I started workin for England and in a lot of ways, Im thankful for it because if I did, Id probly still be workin for a rundown job not driving at all.

Yep, that does alot of help.....

Mister Corneileous, how are you sir?
It's good to hear from you.
I'm glad things are still goin' well for you,
and hope it stays that way.

I wonder if some of the posters are mis-directin' their disfavor for C.R. England, --- the company, --- and takin' out their frustration(s) on those who only drive a Big truck, (company or leased) for C.R.E.?
I see no reason to be critical of someone who can manage to find success there. I would think that would be an attribute.

Actually, maybe you could help me.
Several years ago, there was a poster who went by the handle, "Grandma Debi", who co-leased a Big truck with another student that she met during training, named Virgil.
If you haven't read those posts, you should consider doin' so. Quite entertaining, and possibly how many of those folks who dislike C.R.E. would prefer to think that all C.R.E. drivers are like.
What I'd like, is to get a message to Virgil, who, in spite of the air-headed Grandma Debi as a partner, still managed to make the lease work for him. That amazed me.
So, if you ever meet Virgil, please tell him how impressed I was, and continue to be, with his performance. Back then I said Virgil is my hero. I'm pleased to announce, he still is, --- until someone impresses me more. But I don't see that happenin' any time soon.
    OH!
And tell Virgil that I hope he continues to be successful.
    He's earned it. :yes2557:

    Thanx Corneileous.

Doin just fine. Just under a year and a half left on the lease.
Who knows. Maybe they are, maybe they arent. My guess is that they are jealous cause there are some poeople that are havin success and they didnt. Or, maybe they just are so wrapped up in disbelief that no matter what anybody says that has somethin to say that they will be stubborn as a bull and simply refuse to believe anything that someone like me says. Its kinda like the "You'd argue with me if I said lightning struck that tree over there 5 minutes after it happened" clause....

I have no idea who that person is, my friend. About the read you suggested, sounds like it might be a good one, but Ive read enough stories on here.
