It's funny how when someone gets turned down for a company they start bashing them. Regardless of reason.

I drove for them from 1984 to 1991. But then again I'm not bashing them. I am just warning you will do regional work not otr. Yes they are strict. But not as strict as they was in the 80's. I remember their dress code where your hair couldn't touch your collar and no facial hair what so ever. If you walked in dispatch and you haven't shaved yet that day they would make you go and shave before they would dispatch you. No tennis shoes allowed. No shorts allowed.and if your shirt was not tucked in yes they would tell you to tuck it in. Those was the days when Mr. Hunt ran the company and his son Bryan was a driver too. Back then I got 19 cents a mile and did mostly coast to coast runs in a single sleeper 9670 cabover. Oh yea then they only had 1,200 trucks. Times sure have changed. LOL.

If you can get on a dedicated account with JB they are good. I did it for a year, saved $20,000 and, like an idiot, left to pursue a local job and wish I had stayed. I would have around $100k saved up if I had stayed there. I could go back, they will rehire me, but there's nothing good in my area right now.
