I might consider hiring him for something but not driving a truck. Hey jtx, can you work a flame thrower? I got this ex-girlfriend, .... :biggrin_2559:

Your good, I thought it was pretty funny. Hell, I know I made some dumb mistakes in the past, maybe someday they will stop biting me in the rear end.

Well it's good to see you've got a sense of humor and can take a good ribbing.

What kind of car do you deliver pizzas in? I'd have a little 4 cylinder jap-mobile, like a 10 year old Toyota like I was telling Freebird about earlier. I've seen guys delivering pizzas with big ole lifted 4x4 trucks or big behemoth gas guzzling 1970's station wagons and stuff and I wonder how they can make any money at it.

remember that 78 scottsdale with a 400 in it i told you about? i got a job for pizza hut delivering in that monster when i was 16, and it had 37s on it....it even had a hydraulic 7 foot snow plow on it that i had to leave on year round or else it would have got stolen (i had it locked to the frame of the truck)......but before i started i got a much better job offer at a CVS distribution center and never even started pizza hut

i was planning on getting rid of the truck for a little puddle jumper

Been doing this for 2 years, since I got chaptered out of the Army. Started with an 02 Mitsuibishi Galant, I got rear ended so I bought a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, after about a year the motor quit on me and now I drive a 2003 mitsubishi galant, POS. Got into a bind so i went to a "buy here, pay here" dealership, lets say I now have a payment for another money pit. lol. its not a horrible car, lots of dumb problems and its a 4cyl that barely gets 19mpg

It's a shame you live in an area like that, Freebird. I don't have to worry about #### here. Hell I was leaving the flippin' keys in the ignition on a brand new Volvo truck with a brand new reefer, parked at home, sometimes with a half million dollars worth of stuff in it, and no padlock. As the economy started getting worse, I started locking it up, but there's really nothing to worry about. It's guarded 24/7 by an anti-social dog and her owner is a radical right-wing extremist gun-nut. I told the boss he ain't gotta worry about his equipment when it's parked here! Worst thing he's gotta worry about is maybe dead batteries in the winter.

too bad you live in the peoples republic of illinois where defending yourself and your property is a crime.....

remember MINIVAN.....if somebody breaks into your house, calmly walk away and dial 911

the police will be there within minutes to scrape up your remains off the floor

I'd have a Toyota or a Nissan. The Toyota Camry is the most popular car in America, they'll run forever unless you beat the piss out of them. And they're the only company I'd trust to build a good automatic transmission, which is probably great when you're delivering pizzas.
