    unfortunately the inverters that are big enough to power them are against company policy, thanks to some ####### who burned up a truck.

    Who needs an inverter?? Just use the plug in coolers they sell at the truck stops. While they aren't true refrigerators, they do get cold enough to freeze drinks.

    Walmart or any truckstop. You would need a hard wired inverter to run a microwave. Every truck stop has one. I imagine terminals do too. In the rare event you are not parked at a truck stop or terminal eat a sandwich.

    watchout for the Coleman Powercoolers...I had two where the plugs just melted themselves...when it worked though it was nice...
    also they are expensive but they do have microwaves that can plug into a cigarette light.

    OK, the cigarette liter micro wave are crap. A nice little 1500 watt inverter, a 900 or 1000 watt microwave is awsome.

    well i used an inverter at swift for my tv anyhow i ust used 12v plug with the end cut off it ..they sell the 12 plugs like this ...and it worked for me anyhow ...just make sure the inverter dont get hot ...mine got hot but i kept a fan on it ...so it can be done just gotta be crafty about it :)
