I guarantee they won't pay for the trailer to be washed.
-
Road Rescue has these pics, as well. So they know. I think I can sweet-talk them.
-
that right there is blowing a turbo, I'm getting my 5th one installed on my truck. I've always been able to drive afterwards though, no oil, no major problems like that but just no boost.
-
turbos blowing are different all the time. When mine went out, all I got was white smoke as an indicator, then 5 mph in 6th gear while limping it to the Freightliner. Of the 4 other PAM drivers that also had their turbos go, none of them looked anything like this.
-
In fact, I think I even have a picture of my engine with half the turbo taken out....let me find it..
-
Here we go. Clean as a whistle...and no, Freightliner did not wash it. lol I did however notice that there was an oil leak coming out of the back of the turbo, but it was nothing major. Not even noticeable unless you're looking for it.
-
I had one break.
-
WTH?? So that is oil all over the outside of the truck and not soot or fire damage? In the thumbnails it looks like fire damage. I can't get them to go full size, .. antique cellular towers where I'm at.
-
Depends how they break.
White smoke, no smoke, blowing oil can happen.
The loss of power is for sure.
