Shotsjc good luck with RDTC... Just keep an open mind, and open ears, and you will learn alot. I should be back to work by the time you need a trainer, so you never know you might end up with me. LOL... Most of all have fun with it.

    Shotsjc Thanks this.

I plan on learning everything I can absorb while in training and after too. I really enjoy learning new things and can't wait to get there. I have always wanted to do this. I was signed up with a cdl school a few years back but had some stuff going on so I put it off till now. It would be kind of cool getting you as my trainer as we kind of met in here already. Lol. I like all music except opera, I don't smoke, and I always try to find the fun in things. Lol.:biggrin_2559:

Shotsjc, have fun, and you will do fine. There are lots of good trainers out there, so no matter who you end up with you will be fine.

The trucks are 10 speeds, and the training (range) trucks are similar to the trucks in the fleet (or so I am told), they used to be in the fleet but have since been turned to training trucks...right now in Marshfield they have a ton of new international prostar plus's lined up to get stickers or already have the stickers and are just waiting on drivers to show up...word has it there are alot of new guys getting new trucks when they finish EVO II because the company is busy renewing the fleet...

Getting a new truck amounts to just timing. If you're set loose they will give you what's available. New or old... I'm kind of fine with my POS it doesn't have any of those timers on this and that. Heck knock on wood its working fairly well lately.

Hindsy, thats what I am told it amounts to quite a bit of timing on wether newbies like myself will get a new truck or not...hopefully your POS will get traded soon...they have quite a few new trucks sitting in the marshfield yard waiting to be processed in and at the mid states truck sales next door has alot of new internationals waiting to go over to the yard...and in back are a ton of old ones...I see new internationals coming over to the terminal daily...
