I use to put 2 layers of limo black on all but 2/3 of the windshield on my F150 extended cab And the only way to see in it was to walk up to it and look through the bottom 2/3 of the windshield there was no possible way of seeing through the back or side windows and I had to roll the windows down to even see out the mirrors. Never got stopped about it but dont have it on there now because I got tired of pulling it off every year to get inspected and reapplying it.

Now as far as my CMV no I wouldn't dont want to give them any reason to pull me and tell to take it off after they have given me a ticket waste of money.
And this leads me to a question Will a T/A, Speedco or any other DOT inspection station pass it with window tint that violates DOT regulations or is it they dont care and dont check it

Window tint is a per state law. Here in Maine no tint is legal on windshield (except for visor) or front 2 windows. The windows behind may be 70 percent.

Some renters we have from Florida have 95% on all windows.

Why doesn't someone market a tinted roll-down curtain?

Just mount it above your side windows and unroll it down when you want protection and roll it up when you don't. I guess it would be a pain getting in and out of the vehicle unless you had automatic roller.

For the record, I don't know you. I have nothing against you, other than you treated me crappy in another topic, but I'll figure that's just truck driver tough talk and bully techniques. Whatever.

I've let your quoted post sit for a while... but I have to address it. In your post, you're indicating that all cops must lie about things in court, since a "gun and badge trumps facts".. and you further show your ignorance by indicating that all court systems are corrupt..

It's guys like you, when you deal with law enforcement, that makes LEOs think all truck drivers are jerks or perhaps just dumb and loud.... and on behalf of the rest of us, you can keep that stereotype all to yourself.

We have several law enforcement officers that are on this forum, we discuss lots of things back and forth, and they usually cover our butts by keeping us informed.

If you're going to come off as ignorant as your post above, there's no need to insult every person in law enforcement to express your "opinion". Perhaps you should make your silly statement to an officer's face, instead of using cheap shots from behind your keyboard... and leave the rest of us out of it.

Saying that insulting an entire career field in such a cowardly manner is ridiculous. And since (I'll guess) that the majority of the rest of us don't hate authority and have that junior high level defiance things going on... I'd like to be left out. He makes an awfully broad statement, as if he speaks for everyone.
