I'm almost always on the road...only go home every 4-6 weeks...so yes, if I'm posting...I'm doing it from the truck 99% of the time.

Right now I'm in South Dakota...

    Where at in SD?

As for me, yep, I'm in a truck. Next time I post on here, I'll be home, though. Sitting in Hudson, CO.

That's the entire state. I remember when I had to shut down for the weekend in Mitchell. Got so bored, I actually decided to walk two miles (there, and two more back afterwards) to see what the hell this hype over the Corn Palace was. If you ever do there, the gift shops across the street include a concessions stand which sells iced lemonade... on that particular 97 degree day, they were worth every penny, too.

I tried playing an online fps game in the truck. Too much lag, I think it's from using the phone as a wireless hotspot. I mostly play RTS games that can be saved easily without checkpoints and whatnot.

Counterstrike is one of my favorites. Been playing since version 1.0 back in '01. Used to be in a gaming clan before I got addicted to evercrack lol. I quit that game years ago tho.

It's due to mobile broadband having bad latency. It doesn't really matter what method you're using to connect. On a good day with great connection you'll be lucky to pull in 100-120 latency. As a fellow Counterstrike player, I know you that you know that is horrible.

Hey gravdigr, have you checked out the MMO "World of Tanks"? Great fun, basically Counterstrike in tanks, lol. Its about a 2 gig download, though. Thankfully, I found a truckstop on US-61 in Mo that had awesome free internet and the download only took about an hour.
