OOOOOH Kaaaay.. let me slow this down i didnt put this thread up to at it whit ppl. I put it up just to get some info: or insight on my situation thats all oh yeah and good conversation on the forum.. this is just for me i cant stand when ppl. make bad statements like telling me about me and dont even know me..( come on) or telling me maybe o.t.r. may not be for me... ( i would never tell anybody that )

I also didnt post this for ppl. To get there rocks off.. i been reading some replys and some ppl. Feed back is sad.. oh yeah if the shoe doent fit dont wear it... If i went off a lil MY BAD,,, im not here to make enermies.. some ppl. On this forum i have met in truck stops o.t.r. and they were koool as hell,,, i even worked with a kat on this forum and we are still koool today we kick it on the phone on a regular...

Oh yeah as far as attitude and respect,,, i give it when i get it,, and my attitude is allways in check trust me..if not then i act as if...( figure that out ) if you read this thread and give any positive feed back then dont,,, but dont worry i not going there with anybody.. my bad INJUN,,, BUT i like to say you dont really know the real situation by typeing on a forum. Its better getting the situation face to face.. ( thats just for me )

I drove limos when I was in undergrad... not my cup of tea. Either you have to try to keep the car between the lines while they're shagging in the back (not uncommon) or, like my list client, they bought a TEN THOUSAND dollar case of wine at an auction and forgot it in the trunk. So I had to drive it back home in my $2,000 Geo haha... talk about white knuckle.

Not to mention the drunks and the cheap-skates that don't tip!:biggrin_25513: Drove limo for awhile myself, and hated most of it.

She's an Injun. She can track a buffalo that come through last week.
She's good telling if a train is coming too! :biggrin_2559:

Nobody knows you smittie, but you have a bad record looking from the outside, period. What more is there to say? Anyone that looks at your record will say "not hireable". You make alot of excuses. Nobody is going to say that satellite looks like it was hit if it was just a loose bolt. One tree branch could of done that.

You can look at my track record in my early years and it was similar to yours. I had no incidents, but I wouldn't hesitate to quit if the money wasn't right. Then I learned the system and things got a whole lot better. You are not an asset at any company until you tough it out a year or two. It takes that long to earn the companies respect. The I'll give you respect if you give me respect doesn't cut it. You either play the game or you don't. You never stayed at a company long enough to get to the green grass.

You made bad company choices. But lets take a look at Injun for a second. 90% of drivers will tell you not to work for Swift for the very reasons you experienced with the companies you chose. Injun went in with the right attitude and never gave up. When the going gets tough, you don't run, you deal with it. Maintaining that attitude even with the worse company and things will get better. She's doing pretty darn good right now because of her attitude. It's very easy for a driver/dispatcher relationship go to hell if you let it. You have to take the bad with the good.

DAC is a subscription service used mainly by the bigger companies. Your best bet is apply only at small companies. Some won't even check your record other than your employment dates. Edmund has good advice too. Go back local.
